I enjoyed the tech courses that I took this summer. I am thinking about creating a newsletter information sheet for our occupational program at DHS. Is there a template for newsletters? Should I consider letting them use a blog to communicate with other students, parents, and the community? What do you think?

I went to ePALs and set up an account sin order to see what I could do.
Either I'm missing something big, or they offer a lot more to system accounts, or they don't have much to offer.

Look at my edublog page, The Owl's Room, and compare it to the templates and plug-ins offered on ePAL–or should I say not offered. Is CSD going with ePAL for security reasons? I plan to stay with Word Press.

Btw, I opened a free Flikr account. I was able to upload 29 images (which I supposed could be increased by diminishing the quality of the shots) per month free. An account is only $25. per year. Some paid Flikr members have over 300 photos in their accounts. I hope H.N. will see about getting DHS a paid Flikr account. I'll try not to fill it up too fast (-:
