I’m so proud of the many teachers who attended the technology PLU’s this summer. We are thankful, as I’m sure you are, to have the InTech course behind us. It is so much easier to bite off, chew and swallow new technology when you don’t have the entire buffet thrown at you.
I’m personally looking forward to working more with each and every one of the “pioneers” who attended the 2006 summer sessions.

I went to ePALs and set up an account sin order to see what I could do.
Either I’m missing something big, or they offer a lot more to system accounts, or they don’t have much to offer.
Look at my edublog page, The Owl’s Room, and compare it to the templates and plug-ins offered on ePAL–or should I say not offered. Is CSD going with ePAL for security reasons? I plan to stay with Word Press.
Btw, I opened a free Flikr account. I was able to upload 29 images (which I supposed could be increased by diminishing the quality of the shots) per month free. An account is only $25. per year. Some paid Flikr members have over 300 photos in their accounts. I hope H.N. will see about getting DHS a paid Flikr account. I’ll try not to fill it up too fast (-:

I enjoyed the tech courses that I took this summer. I am thinking about creating a newsletter information sheet for our occupational program at DHS. Is there a template for newsletters? Should I consider letting them use a blog to communicate with other students, parents, and the community? What do you think?
