Setting Your Home Page

Management Techniques

A recent question has come up. How do I set a different Home Page in my browser? Excellent question.

This is a great way to start the process of “Managing Your Life”. As a teacher, you must get it done quickly. You can set your Home Page to a favorite web site in your curriculum or set it to a bloglines account that can pull together all the articles you want to read/skim over on a daily basis.

The steps are simple…

1. Go to your favorite site.

2. In Safari, go to Safari>Preferences.

3. Under Home Page click Use Current Page.

4. In Firefox, go to Firefox>Preferences.

5. Under Home Page click Use Current Page (you can also have two or more tabs open and save all of them as your Home Page).
